Prescott Metro Inn Kajang

Hotel staff friendly. Value for money. Easy to find food.

The hotel was under renovation, which was obviously needed. The room we were given upon check-in was in the "un-renovated part" and when we arrived, it was very clear why. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold-looking spots and leaking onto the bathroom floor. We asked to change rooms, and were given an "upgrade" which appeared to be a room with a renovated bathroom. We were thrilled at first, because the rooms are actually very sizeable with decent amenities. Unfortunately, the new renovations were not quite complete. The bathtub grout etc was not filled in properly, so taking a shower meant the whole floor was wet. The walls were not quite filled in - which meant little cockroaches traversing the floor as they navigated the disturbed plumbing system. The wifi was also spotty and made working from the room almost impossible.

I think it will be a great place to stay if they are able to renovate effectively and fill in all the holes and plumbing issues. Making the wifi stable and strong will be a huge boost as well. As it is right now, I cannot in good conscience recommend it as a place to stay, but perhaps in a year it will be great.

Abit dirty in the bathroom equipment, got cockroach in the room.
