Right along the quiet, leafy lanes of Jalan Kamuning sits Victory Street Boutique Hotel, a 46-room budget accommodation catering to the needs of those not wanting to splurge on extravagant hotel rooms. The hotel is near several outlet shops and right beside the property is Ceylon Tea Kingdom, a tea premium outlet, while across the street is Beryls Chocolate Kingdom, focusing on Malaysian-made chocolates. Other important landmarks close by include the embassies of Indonesia, Japan and China, and the Golden Triangle business centre (KLCC, The Intermark), keeping you in touch with the node of the city. A 24-hour on-site restaurant is available on the ground floor should you need food in the odd hours of the night, but the hotel is also within walking distance to other city conveniences such as a mini-mart and halal eateries. ... Although Victory Street Boutique Hotel is a budget property, rooms have a rather snazzy character, with vibrant patterned walls and colourful flowers on the bedside table, giving guests surprising luxury touches. All rooms are equipped with an LCD TV with select channels, coffee and tea-making facilities, and en-suite bathroom complete with standing shower and bath. The entry-level Standard Room comes with a queen-size bed but without working desk, so if you need one, the upper categories such as Deluxe (queen-size bed, working desk) and Superior (twin beds, marble top table, street view) would be more ideal options. The family room is especially cosy if youre with a large group, as it comes with both queen-size and single beds, together with a sofa and a balcony for those wanting to enjoy the night breezes.

This Hotel is recommended for: >> Families, >> Solo travellers, >> Groups, >> Leisure, >> Budget-conscious travellers

What we loved:
- Location is in close proximity to the Indonesian, Chinese and Japanese embassies, with the Petronas Twin Towers just a 15-minute walk away
- Complimentary Wi-Fi all throughout the property
- Family room comes with a sofa, a working desk and a tiny balcony
- 24-hour on-site restaurant Royal Cafe serves local cuisine
- Ceylon Tea Kingdom right beside the hotel offers discounted quality tea items

What you should know:
- Hotel is a three-storey building with no elevators
- Car park is very limited, only in front of the hotel

Initially, I chose this hotel because of location. It's not too far from the golden triangle of Bukit Butang. However, it closer to a car park and a street where I'm not sure it is safe if I'm go by walk late (after 10pm).
Hotel staff is nice but their facility is poor. The room is too small as well. I took the standard room with special offer (50% discount), it's just enough for a bed and a small closet, and the bath room just about 2,5m2. The other room is not much better so I decided to keep the reserved room.

The location is great. It is surrounded by three chocolate factories. The room is fair, with tv and aircon. However, we had a problem during our checkout. The attendant is looking for a kettle in the room but in reality there was no kettle inside and their record showed that there is. Their system is not that good and the service as well. They should make it sure that each room has the complete facilities and other stuffs before they declare it. In the first place they did not mention at first that there is a kettle there. We should have looked at it the first time we enter the room. It end up that they just misplaced the kettle somewhere. We saved out 100myr deposit.

The place is nice but appreciate if you can improve your service so we can recommend that to others.

a comfortable place to stay. i stayed in a double room and the space is big enough for 2 persons, the price is cheap with the 50% offer. and the price won't raise even it's on the same day of booking unlike some other hotels, that is 1 of the things i like.
but i dislike the location as it is too far for us too walk even to the nearest mall(Fahrenheit 88). the location of Victory 2 is better.
