The Lane Xang Hotel, Vientiane is located on the river road near the centre of the capital business and entertainment areas. Close to the tourist attractions. Rooms are pleasantly furnished and relaxing. The hotel offers a unique blend of modern comforts including a pool and sauna combined with Laos hospitality.

Don't expect much it is long past it's days of glory and it is probably worth skipping the breakfast all together. There are now a days many other hotels in Vientiane that are better located and better run (TaiPan for example) but for a place to lay your head it is not a bad place. It is just average.
A superb, value for money hotel... although it harks back to its Communist past I guess. Great location. Full facilities. Watch the concrete slabs around the pool in case you catch your toes!
In need of renovation as it is quite dated.
