Le Bel Air is a unique hotel in Luang Prabang, Laos and indeed most of the world. It is located less than five minutes drive from the airport, nestled in two hectares of unspoilt garden and natural vegetation, along the banks of a major river. The centre of town is a short walk, the air is fresh and quiet. The river a never ending, ever changing painting of tranquil rural life, laos style.

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff really stood out here. It was incredible that they offered to shuttle us into town when needed. The river view is lovely and the rooms super comfortable. We would definitely return.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The manager brought us to a Mekhong-side restaurant by himself. There are free bicycles (condition not european but nevertheless helpful). The staff even knew our names. Our room was in the old wooden house, one of the nicest rooms I know (not luxurious but just lovely).
Very nice hotel in a nice area with goods facilities, not far from the sightseeings. Also very nice staff speaking good english. Our room was a bungalow riverview: very clean and well decorated. The hotel is close to the airport so we can hear and see planes about to land but after 20 seconds it is over so it is not a problem at all(we have 2 young children) and there are only a few planes landing each day (nothing early in the morning and late at night), so you can sleep tight. The bad point for us would be the breakfast. Not much to choose from: eggs, fruits, bread or rice/noodles. Enjoy your stay !
