About Abuta:
Hokkaido is the second largest, northernmost and least developed of Japan's four main islands. With its unspoiled nature, Hokkaido attracts many outdoor lovers, including skiers and snowboarders in the colder seasons and hikers, cyclists and campers from June to September. The Tsugaru Strait separates Hokkaidô from Honshû, although the two islands are connected by the underwater Seikan Tunnel. The largest city on Hokkaidô is its capital, Sapporo. The island of Hokkaidô is located at the north end of Japan, near Russia and has coastlines on the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the Pacific Ocean.
