Dorsoduro Hotels

Dorsoduro district is located in southern part of the city, the ending of the Grand Canal. The area is the highest area dated back to the sixth century till the eleventh century brought the religious buildings sampling the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute and the Zattere Quay are now landmarks. The 19th century brought it the Ponte dell'Accademia related to San Marco, making it an expensive area and more industrialized. Some of its attractions include the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Check out the Palazzo Dario, an old building of the Grand Canal, Church of San Sebastiano and Church of Santa Maria del Carmelo with Scuola Grande dei Carmini. Do mot miss Campo Santa Margherita, Ca’ Foscari, Ca’ Rezzonico and Campo San Barnaba.
