Fiumicino Airport Hotels

Fiumicino (FCO) renamed as Leonardo da Vinci, is known as the largest airport in Rome, opened in stages between 1956 and 1961 and it has been undergone several expansion works. The airport is 19 miles (30km) south west of central Rome, where takes around 45 minutes from Rome, which located the Fiumicino , where is a large fishing town on the Tyrrhenian Sea coast and has long been known for its great seafood restaurants. It also is a weekend getaway for the people of Rome, especially in the summer. There is a good beach but the sand is black due to the high iron content in it. Transports provided from central Rome are bus, train, taxi.
