Comfort Hotel & Resort Tanjung Pinang

quite ashamed, the hotel was very well designed and has beautiful landscape n architecture but the maintenance was bad. we booked a bungalow, which is infact a semi-detached; i.e. 2 separate units in one unit of bungalow. the problem is the room has a bad smell n so are the sheets. when we returned the second day, the floor was still very wet n smelly as if they used vry old n dirty mop to go over it in a hurry. thanks God, the restaurant food is still very reasonable in taste n price. May or may not come back depend on future reviews.

On the outskirts of the main city, it's a good place to experience authentic Indonesian life and meet the locals. Going out is fun; close by there are lots of stores, supermarkets and food stands, and then you can retire to the air-conditioned comfort of the hotel. The large balcony of my 'deluxe' room turned out to be shared with three other rooms, which was a surprise, but not a big problem.

The experience was good except the bus service who's going to fetch us from ferry terminal. We love the pool and we love the people, they were very kind, friendly and patient.
