Also the restaurants and up market bars are of a far more refined quality then central Kuta. Naturally Seminyak is generally a more expensive area than Kuta but the value for money is the far higher than in Kuta due to the superior standard of service for a little extra.

Seminyak is great for couples and families as there is a distinct absence of the large groups of youths associated with Kuta and instead a far more classy scene and a far less crowded beach.
