Mutiara Bali Boutique Resort and Villa

The villa was pleasant and rooms were clean. Everything in provided in the room was new. Room service always came in 10-15 mins, which was good.
A few things to be improved.
We didnt know there is a light in the pool that didnt light up for 3 nights we were there and we werent informed how to switch it on.
Service standard wasnt really uniform, where some were better and some just dont seem very happy.
Dishwashing equipment doesnt look too clean, so we had to wash with hot water.
The only thing that make me unhappy was that we werent informed that notes older than 2000 cannot be used. The receptionist keep trying to make us change ourselves or pay in rupiah. I already told the first receptionist that i am paying in cash and had it ready the first day, yet this information wasnt notified to us through the agent or hotel staff on the first day. Wasted 30 mins on our last day and make our schedule too rush that we had to skip dinner. it was only 1 USD 20 dollars note that was rejected, and they destroyed the fun we had at the resort. it would have been awesome without this hiccup.

This hotel is a good value for money in overprices Seminyak. It is comfortable, clean and the staff is very helpful.
