We had a good experience at Desamuda. Their location and the villas are very nice, and the staff is quite welcoming! The rooms are big and cosy and we enjoyed our stay. They also helped us plan and book our local sightseeing in Bali.
A fabulous place to stay. We booked a one bedroom villa and were upgraded to a newly completed deluxe pool villa and were the first guests to stay in it. It was private and beautiful with a large plunge pool, two flat screen tvs, outdoor lounge, kitchen and bathroom, enclosed bedroom with mosquito net and air conditioning. We felt so special and it was very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was serviced once and sometimes twice a day. Nothing was too much of a problem for the staff who were genuinely keen for us to enjoy our stay. The restaurant food was ok but meals were a bit small except for the set menu which was very filling. Breakfast was just OK and could use improvement. Room service was quick and reasonably priced. There was also two communal pools which were fine and rarely used as most villas had their own pools. It is on a very busy road but set right back from the road so is very quiet. Too far from the beach to walk but they had a free shuttle. Mosquitoes were very bad though as most of the villa is outside. They provide mosquito coils and spray for you. You can see the toilet and bathroom from the pool so there is no privacy in the villa but it is great for a couple as long as you are comfortable with each others bathroom business! A great place to stay!
