Location: Poor.
Located near The Elysian / Art Cafe. A good 15min walk to Seminyak main street, 10min to the beach. Roads narrow and not easily accessible. Taxi drivers have problem finding the place.
Highly recommended to get a scooter (at IDR 50k or less a day) to move around.
Hotel: Good
Fairly new. Small botique hotel. Dipping pool, but otherwise minimal facilities. Breakfast is the same boring eggs and toast everyday.
Dance lessons are conducted.
Rooms: Good, but…
Large - Approx 20ft x 20ft including toilet. Floors are homogeneous tiles without carpet. Decorated with poster, painting and art works.
Room comes with king sizd bed with 4 pillows and 2 bolsters. Small fridge. 37” LG LCD TV with Samsung DVD player. Cable channels provided. Free and fast Wifi! Liquid soap provided but not toothpaste or toothbrush. Daily room service and towels replaced daily.
Rooms badly configured (this can be a matter of personal taste) – bed is placed diagonally across room, and power switches are badly located.
No wardrobe, but an open shelf for hanging clothes and placing luggage. Small writing table.
Toilet is large, and walls are finished in black and red ceramic tiles (too dark for my liking). Many mosquitoes in toilet due to open air holes.
Other: Very friendly innkeeper. She will help with special requests such as taxi bookings, renting a scooter, etc.
Overall: 3.5 stars

Casa Artista is a really nice hotel. Clean large roms, good food and really nice staff. It is a little hidden and quiet, but within 10 walking min. from the pool. We can definitly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was very, very nice. It was very clean and comfortable. The Staff was helpful and everything was good.
