I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, good food and good service. The only down side was the beach, it is not what i am used to (Visiting Thailand a lot).
The hotel is showing signs of wear. The deluxe rooms are a good size but we had to change rooms before we found one which did not have an unpleasant odour possibly due to faulty sewerage. The restaurant is passable but the menu lacks imagination and breakfast was only fair. The best feature of the hotel is the beach front and private beach. The pool temperature made it too uncomfortably warm for a refreshing swim. Internet facilities were poor expensive and erratic. Hotel security were particularly helpful after the theft of a handbag outside the hotel snatched by a passing motorcyclist. We would not make a return visit to this hotel. Sanur is an attractive area but a more than usual rip off for tourists.
