Alila Manggis Hotel

After the above dates, my Road Scholar group arrived and we all enjoyed our stay with you. After that we toured Bali and then Borneo, which is why I am so late in answering this as it took a while to get back home to California.
Your staff was very helpful in everything I asked, including a snorkeling adventure which was great.

We had a perfect stay at The Alila Manggis Hotel. The staff was very professional and service minded. The facilities were very nice and so was the rooms. A very laid back place were you can stay the hole day at the Hotel and feel like a king. There are people by the pool serving you ice cold water all the time. The restaurant had very high standard. Perfect breakfast were you order from a breakfast menu, no buffé that you have to share with other people. The food was outstanding, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eventhoug the price level for food at the hotel is quite high it is really worth it. I would definitely stay hewre again if I visit Bali another time. The only shortcoming is that the beach outside the hotel is just a few meters wide so you can not use the beach other than for snorkeling or swimming (no place for sunchairs). There is also some kilometers from the hotel to Candidasa centre so you have to rely on taxi to get there if ou want to eat dinner outside the hotel area. For a few days just to relaxing, enjoying the food and the top service this is the perfect hotel.

Relaxing piece of paradise on the east coast of Bali. Beautiful surroundings, well maintained and lovely staff. Superior restaurant and service. We could not get enough of it!
