Dragon Hostel is located in Mong Kok, the well-known shopping and sight-seeing area in Kowloon Hong Kong. Excellent location, much better than Chunking Mansions. No touts etc. MRT stations adjacent, make it very easy to get about, and to Hung Hom station for onward travel to China and Vietnam. Ladies Market across the road. CTS office across the road too. Staff very helpful
On our first day, they gave twin bed and two single beds room where we originally booked 4 single beds. We agreed to accept it even if the room is too small for 4 people since the room we booked is not available at that time but the receptionist told me that they will transfer on the next day and they did. The room is much bigger compared to the previous one. We were able to get around the room. The staff is very accommodating, our room has Wifi access, it has one private bathroom and one common bathroom in the hallway. The building where the hostel located is old and looks like in a slum area but the area is well secured because of several CCTV cameras installed in different areas of the hallway. Overall, if you are looking for a good budget hostel in Hongkong (good service, hospitable staff, & add on service like free Wifi, common ref, etc) , this hostel is highly recommended. They also offer discounted tickets to Disneyland, Ngong Ping, etc so it is better to buy here instead.
