Island Pacific Hotel

Hotel a bit far off the metro system but easier enough to find once you have first located it. Perhaps its location was not clear enough on the initial investigation I undertook. Otherwise the hotel was well fitted out except the rooms may be a bit small for some. Did not utilise the breakfast service which I felt was a bit on the expensive side. Other than the above the room was comfortable and the pricing reasonable for Hong Kong and it was a good base from which to explore Hong Kong without paying for an expensive hotel room that you hardly use except for sleeping.

Small, clean, convenient, cheap. Great hotel in a pinch.

Not necessary the best location but the excellent hotel shuttle services can take you to most transport hubs including the Airport Express Station and the City central. If you do your homework right, you will find plenty of buses and trams within short walking distance going practically all directions. Clean, comfortable and good-size room by Hong Kong standard and good value for money.
