Tempelhof-Schöneberg is a merged borough of Berlin by Tempelhof and Schöneberg. Tempelhof is an industrial and residential. The northern part is mainly occupied by the airport Tempelhof which is due to close in 2007. Schöneberg is younger hosting several nice restaurants and bars, find them out in Goltzstr and Eisenacher Str. Today it is populated with young families and middle-age singles. However, the old renovated apartments with stucco to affordable prices maturated this area. Walking advised to explore this area. From U-Nollendorfplatz, head directly to the Winterfeldmarkt, a lovely market, on Thursday and Sunday morning. Despite lots of Nazi’s signs of anti-gays found here, the area is considered a centre of the homosexual scene in Berlin.
