Pankow is at the Berlin tip. Three former boroughs; Prenzlauer Berg and Weißensee and Pankow have formed the new district of Pankow, from deserted apartment houses to a lively area for students, artists, and young people, while the former Pankow is greenery middle-class district with a laid-back atmosphere and some minor sights for tourists. Not so many attractions yet the charm of laid-back ambience offering in the streets lining the cafés and restaurants, where you watch hip crowd passing. And since it has become the place for artists and young people, its nightlife is vibrant and trendy. The music records and clothes sold here are worth a visit for the shopping enthusiasts.
