The Estrel, comprising a multifunctional Convention Center, the 4-star-plus Hotel ? which is at the same time Germany's largest hotel with its 1,125 rooms ? and also including an entertainment programme in the Festival Center, very soon made itself a name with it's concept, both nationally and internationally.

In October 1994, the Estrel Hotel was opened and has been in service ever since, with its 1,125 rooms and suites, all of them appointed with distinguished taste and accommodated in the four wings of the building. In 1997 the Estrel Festival Center was added; ever since, "Stars in Concert", the Las-Vegas-style live show, as well as numerous special shows have been performed every day (except Tuesdays) in the former factory, which was converted into a showroom and equipped with permanently installed light and sound systems.
