Estonia is officially the Republic of Estonia, a country in Northern Europe, shares the borders of Russia and Latvia, while the north facing the Gulf of Finland and the west is the Baltic Sea reaching to Sweden. Over 50 years under the former Soviet Union’s wings, and regained independence in 1991, the traces of the Soviet era are still there to see. Tallinn’s old town is magnificent with the medieval city walls and towers almost complete, perhaps rated the Europe’s best old towns, while Glorious beaches are offered, yet the Baltic Sea water is not renowned for warmth, it is also cool in summers. Luckily for travellers, when the Estonians have a special love for nature.
