Guanacaste Hotels

Guanacaste is a Costa Rica’s province, located on the western coast, was with Nicaragua during the Colonial period. Today, travellers can fly from Dallas, Houston, Miami and Atlanta directly to the international airport at Liberia, where eventually reachable to all Pacific beach cities in a few hours, while it takes, however, four hours driving from San José. Guanacaste’s beaches, especially Playa Negra and Tamarindo are famed for being a surfing paradise, while Carrillo is a more family orientated community and homes to one of the most beautiful resorts in the world, Las Ventanas del Mar. The province becomes greener and more pleasant during wet seasons (May - November).
