Malibu Bungalows welcomes you to the white sandy beaches of Sihanoukville, Cambodia. At our guesthouses you’ll enjoy resting in a quaint Khmer owned and operated bed & breakfast that offers clean, comfortable, and secure rooms with helpful and friendly service. Both guesthouses are directly on the sands of Sokha Beaches where the tropical Gulf of Thailand waters lap against the shore just beneath our shady trees and sunbathing palapas. Our beachside guesthouses provide an idyllic retreat from the bustle of traveling on your Southeast Asian holiday.

At House of Malibu and Malibu Bungalows, every room has an ensuite bathroom and shower. Our standard room rate includes a large western style buffet breakfast of crèpes or pancakes, eggs, fresh local fruits, coffee and tea, served in the dining terrace overlooking the sea and nearby islands. In general, our standard sized bungalows and rooms can accommodate up to 3 guests. In some cases, a nominal fee may be applied for small children exceeding the 3 guest maximum occupancy. Special arrangements may need to be made for families with small children or infants.

The restaurant here is a bit disappointing, serving a pre cooked breakfast of cold bacon, rubbery pancakes and plastic bread but the view is fabulous. If you want a splurge, and can book one of the bungalows near the water, this is a fine choice.

Located 230 kilometres southwest of the capital city Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville is a place to unwind, savour fresh from-the-ocean seafood, go snorkeling or scuba diving and generally slow-down and chill-out. White sand beaches and warm Gulf of Thailand waters provide a great little tropical getaway centred around this charming and unique fishing port. An increasing number of foreign visitors are discovering Sihanoukville, with its , thatched roofed restaurants, grass umbrellas and relaxed pace. The area has an ample supply of accommodation, including a brand new resort complex on Sokha Beach, several mid-range places downtown and at the beaches, a few 'upscale' three-star hotels, and standard guesthouses, around on Weather Station Hill. Additional attractions include the Kbal Chhay waterfalls, the Bokor Hills and the Ream National Park close by.

Also known as Kompong Som, Sihanoukville can be described as 'a beach town', port and emerging resort destination. The pace of life is very relaxed and it's a place to unwind, enjoy the fresh-from-the-ocean seafood, take a snorkeling or scuba trip, and generally slow-down, chat and chill-out. Accommodation ranges from new resorts on Sokha Beach, mid-range places downtown, a few 'upscale' three-star hotels at the beach plus dozens of budget guesthouses. The town has a surprising number of restaurants and bars offering foreign food, pool tables, movies and music. There's even a casino open 24 hours a day.
