The New Bequest Angkor Hotel now has 33 rooms for your trip to the heart of Siem Reap Town, the 2 story villa structure is located within walking distance from the towns many entertainment and dining outlets as well as the night markets.
The air-conditioned rooms are clean and sufficiently spacious for two people. Given the price paid (US$20 per night), it was very well equipped with a mini fridge, warm showers, cable television as well as a safety deposit box at the reception. While the room rates do not come with complimentary breakfast, this should not pose a major problem given the numerous eating outlets close by.
The English speaking staff worker s are helpful and friendly. They will be able to advice for your travel requirements to Angkor Wat. ... [+] More You will be pleasantly surprised that the prices of bottled water on sale at the reception are cheaper than that at the convenience stores.
Overall, the New Bequest Angkor Hotel will meet all aspects of your travel needs. I would recommend the hotel to all travelers who are looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Siem Reap. We would certainly look forward to having you at the New Bequest for your future trips.

New Bequest Angkor Hotel is a guesthouse located within walking distance to popular tourist area where Old Market, Noon Night Market, Angkor Night Market, Pub Street and lot of shops, restaurants & pubs are located.
There are a few types of room available, from basic single, twin sharing to rooms which can house in 4 – 6 proper beds. The décor in the room varies from traditional motifs to basic simple & plain décor, the later being is my personal preference. The reception staffs are friendly, accommodating and are able to converse effectively in English.
Internet connection is free within the guesthouse if you are planning to bring your laptop otherwise you may use the desktop near the reception for guests free usage. 1 day laundry service is available. Tuk-tuks [2 – 4 seaters carriage attached to a motorcycle] are easily available for Angkor Temples tour visit ranging from 1 day to 1 week. The guesthouse has 2 tuk-tuk drivers who are conversant in English and or Chinese.
Next to the guesthouse you can easily find authentic local Cambodia street foods if your stomach is able to hold them. Convenience stores, money changer, bicycle rentals are also available around the corner of the guesthouse.
On my departure day, I have requested for the reception to book for a cab for me to the airport. I was really surprised when the hotel owner, Mr Song insisted to personally drive me to the airport without any charges. I must commend on the way he manages the guest house where “guests comfort comes first as money is not everything”, quoted from him.
Overall, New Bequest Angkor Hotel is definitely a good value for money if you are looking for something budget yet comes with all basic comfort.
