Angkor Star Hotel is in the central location in Siem Reap town, Known to be the most convenience location and only a few steps walk to the famous nightlife of Pub Streets, other bars, restaurants and several night markets and others tourists attraction available in Siem Reap, Angkor Wat temples. It is on the main road of popular Sivutha Street which is very identical location for walking around either day or night. A few steps along the entrance set the hotel in a pretty good distance from the road possible noise and the tranquility pool atmosphere behind the hotel building offers our guest to relax and rejuvenate from walking day at the monuments of temples and others sightseeing spots.

The breakfasts were basic and uninteresting. Dragonfruit must have been in season and on special as it was almost exclusively the fruit for breakfast. The poolwas locked early on three nights.
Angkor Star is an older hotel that was probably in its prime 40 years ago. It looks loike it was built during the French Colonial days and remains beautiful and elegant in a slightly tarnished condition. The rooms and price are extrfaordinary; a huge, spacious 2-room suite for just over US $50. Bthroom with seperate shower and bath. The hotel has all the facilities including in suite wi-fi, swimming pool, and restaurant. It has a good location within a $1.50 Tuk-tuk ride from the major restaurant and bar area, the night market and 10 minutes from Angkor Wat. Recommended on the basis of price, facilities and location, plus the ambiance of the days when Cambodia was a Frence Colony.
