Brunei is one country in the islands of Borneo of Southeast Asia. Brunei is very close to Malaysia both by the border and culture while it is deeply influenced by Hinduism and Islam and it is more conservative than Malaysia when the sale and public consumption of alcohol is banned. The non-Muslim foreigners are allowed for 12 cans of beer and two bottles of spirits each time of enter. Kampong Ayer is a water village renowned for the largest collection of stilt habitations in the world. Some beaches of Brunei, such as Muara, Serasa, Kuala Belait and Lumut Beach near Tutong, are popular in water sports.
