Leopoldstadt Hotels

Leopoldstadt comprises of Schnitzler, Strauss and Mahler, lines on a bank of Danube Canal separating from the centre. Wiener Prater is the most well-known containing a large amusement park and at its entrance there is the giant Ferris wheel (“Riesenrad”) opened in 1897 which features prominently in the movie “The Third Man” and which has become one of Vienna’s trademarks. The Swiss Hut boasts a huge beer garden, sells the original Czech Budweiser draught beer, which the invention of potato crisp was claimed by the owners in the 1920s. The Vienna Boy’s Choir also calls Leopoldstadt its home.
