The house has old style charm but with modern amenities and very comfortable.Roomy.The Beautiful Romantic Escape room has its own 2 person Luxury Corner Spa in the ensuite.It is located down one end of the house but we give couples exclusive use of the house .THUS NO SHARING!!!.
Also available is another Queen "Treetops Room" with a queen bed and large newly renovated bathroom adjacent. Lovely views from all the windows on to the large trees at the rear of the property.
There are 2 smaller bedrooms downstairs with a third bathroom- suitable for older children.
The location is excellent,half way between Olinda & Sassafras so you can walk to the restaurants and shops. "Miss Marples" tea rooms are only 2 minutes by car or 0. ... [+] More5km walk away.The exotic garden setting on 3/4 acre makes a short or long stay a memorable experience.Peaceful and green.The kookaburras feed on the balcony only feet away from the breakfast table.
There is central heating throughout with the beautfiul open stone fire place in the lounge room to relax by.Note cool in summer up in the Dandenongs
Also included with the beautiful homestead is a continental, self prepare breakfast which consists of cereal, bread, milk,tea/coffee,eggs and some extras in the pantry like a pancake mix and baked beans .Also food for the parrots and Kookaburra's!!You have a well equipped country kitchen with stove, microwave, 2fridges and DW and the rear elevated (private) deck has a table setting for 6 with a gas BBQ available
If you prefer not to dine out there are several takeaway choices eg Indian, Italian or Chinese in nearby Olinda and Mt Dandenong.The Mt Dandenong Hotel has lovely meals and reasonable prices too.Note we will have at IGA opening in June 2009 situated opposite the hotel (which is also near the takeaway outlets)
Drive 10 minutes to Belgrave with Puffing Billy steam train or visit one of the great gardens like Alfred Nicolas, National Rhododendron gardens, The Tulip farm or William Ricketts Sanctuary-It is up to You!!!!
