Also located within the grounds is The Argus Dining Room. Operated by Frank Moylan and Melissa Macfarlane, (ex Farmers Arms, Daylesford and Royal George, Kyneton) in collaboration with owners Wayne Cross and Chris Malden, The Argus Dining Room serves Modern Australian cuisine with an emphasis on regional produce. Led by Executive Chef Ryan Sessions, (2 chefs hats) previously of The Merrijigg Inn at Port Fairy, guests can enjoy a fresh, seasonal menu that utilises produce grown onsite in the Argus Kitchen Garden as well as rare breed cattle and sheep from the owners nearby farm ‘Birch Estate’ in Smeaton.
