Holmwood Guesthouse

Holmwood is a 1934 guesthouse, set in a cottage garden in central Cowes. Just 200m to a safe swimming beach, 300m to the town centre and a 10 minute drive to the nightly Penguin Parade.

The guesthouse features two Queen size rooms and one King/Twin (all with ensuites, coffee/tea making facilities, complimentary WiFi and split system heating/cooling).

Also on the same property are two adjoining self-contained spa cottages (self-rated 4), perfect for couples or a group of friends travelling together. Each cottage has its own private verandah and fully fenced courtyard garden.

For the budget conscious there is also a funky studio apartment on two levels. It's compact but cute, and consists of fenced courtyard, lounge/dining, kitchenette, bathroom and single bedroom downstairs, and double bed and second single bedroom upstairs. ... For families with children (including infants) under 12 years of age the cottages or studio are (in general) the only option, since the guesthouse is more suited to adults. However, when booking the whole guesthouse (i.e. for mum and dad, two children and two grandparents) this can be an option as well.

Full cooked breakfasts are included in guesthouse tariff, cottages and the studio apartment are fully self catering. Close to restaurants, shops, passenger ferry terminal, Phillip Island Nature Park, 18-hole golf course.
