The Rose Cottage is small and intimate, specialising in sumptuous breakfasts and comfortable beds, each room crammed full of interesting bits and pieces. The Rose Cottage is very centrally located, just one block from the historic town centre. Four rooms, each with an ensuite, one room with full bathroom and two person spa, all decorated with the romantic in mind – brass and iron beds (with modern mattresses and bases), antique and just old, interesting furniture. Each room has a covered outdoor sitting area from which to sit and read or to view the charming garden. Victoria Rose is a very elegant, fully self-contained two storey home, Circa 2000 but could be mistaken for Circa 1880 which is also decorated in the Victorian style with all the modern touches. It is situated on the same property, but has a different street frontage. Victoria Rose can accommodate from two to five people. It offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with spa), fully equipped kitchen with everything on hand to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Antiques and things just old abound, mostly purchased locally and to satisfy a collection addiction. Victoria Rose has evaporative cooling and ceiling fans throughout for the Summer and a wood burning heater for the cooler months, TV/DVD, tea/coffee facilities and provisions for fully cooked breakfasts are included.
