Springbrook Mountain Chalets (AAA 4 Star Rated) is a place to rest, unwind and soak in the beauty and scents of nature in that stillness unique to wilderness areas.
All accommodation has a timber interior and raked or cathedral ceiling. All linen, towels and basic toiletries are provided and for the cooler months “potbelly” stoves or glass-front fireplaces and electric blankets are in place. Each cottage and chalet boasts a full kitchen including 4 burner stove with oven, microwave oven full size refrigerator, spa bath or spa pool and sleeping facilities to accommodate a couple between two and six persons.
The warmth of the wood fire will keep you cosy at night and make your stay all the more enjoyable! A TV, DVD player and CD stereo system are provided in each cottage and a selection of over 300 DVD’s is available at reception.
Cool rainforests with fresh mountain streams, eucalypt forests, picnic ground and an extensive walking track system await the visitor to Springbrook Plateau. Magnificent panoramic views may be gained from many vantage points on the plateau. Lookouts providing safe viewing are easily accessible by car or a short walk.
The award wining “Paddymelons” restaurant is only 1300 meters away and is located at the beginning of the Springbrook Plateau (just after the road splits into a “One Way” traffic road) and is directly opposite the world heritage Wunburra Lookout, the first and oldest lookout in Springbrook which enjoys spectacular views of the Gold Coast and the Little Nerang Dam.
