Takarakka Bush Resort

Takarakka Bush Resort is set in pristine bush surrounds. We can offer 60 powered and 60 un-powered caravan, camper and tent sites.

Guests have access to three onsite communal kitchens, fitted with BBQs, hot plates and instant boiling water. We also provide three clean ablution blocks with hot and cold showers.

There is an on-site store that sells the essentials, bread, milk, tinned foods, soft drinks, ice, confectionery and souvenirs.

Takarakka is situated 5kms from Carnarvon Gorge visitors centre, from where local walking trails begin, from short half hour walks to the staggering "Great walk" (87 kms). Guided Gorge tours can be organised, however bookings are essential. A local guide presents an on-site slide show and talk, please check closer to the date of your arrival for this scheduled timetable.

Wi-Fi is accessible to guests at an additional cost. Please note that mobile phones do NOT have coverage at the park, nor in the Gorge itself. As Takarakka is situated in a National Park, no domestic animals can be accommodated on park premises.
