Relax in the heated outdoor spa in the Gazeba with a cold drink, perhaps a game of pool, a BBQ in the Pergola or wander the landscaped gardens listening to the song of birds. Enjoy a movie/sport on the wide screen TV in the Bar/Theatre Room, listen to taped music from the in-house sound system, quiet time with a good book in the Library....or simply retire to your room where your privacy is fully respected.

To appreciate our Bountiful Burdekin Shire fully a drive up Mt Inkerman for the panoramic views of various agricultural fields and beyond, laze on nearby beaches, fish for barramundi and mud crabs in the many creeks, explore the wetlands and abundant birdlife, dive the World famous dive to "Yongola", view the spectacular cane fires in the evening skies or travel a little further (with a packed luncheon hamper for an additional fee) to the Burdekin Falls Dam a magnificent sight in flood, back through historic Charters Towers built in gold mining days and Ravenswood where "ghosts roam at night" or so they say.

A golfer may be interested in a game on the very course where Karrie Webb first tee'ed off, or perhaps a movie in one of the last remaining drive-in cinemas. View the local history, craft, galleries and cultural attractions, be tempted in the many Boutique Shops, Beauty/massage Salons, Coffee Shops, Restaurants and country Pubs in our lovely village atmosphere as the local community radio station "Sweet FM" is piped through the main street.

Although ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with rural views, we are only 8 minutes from the GPO, 60 minutes south from the Townsville airport/hire cars and 2 hours drive north from the Whitsundays in North Queensland. If you prefer to dine in, with 24 hours notice, please join us for an evening meal lovingly prepared by your host (for an additional fee).
