The Morpeth Convent was built in the very early 1900's and as the name suggests, was the home to an order of Catholic nuns. Set in lovely grounds this beautifully restored building with its own private chapel is now once again operational as bed and breakfast accommodation. The property is located in the historical village of Morpeth. Morpeth offers a number of excellent restaurants, cafes, boutiques and galleries - you definitely won't be board. Hunter valley wine country is a 30 minute drive, the beaches of Newcastle are a 30 minute drive - Morpeth is in fact situated in the heart of the Hunter.
