Alpine Hotel

The Alpine Hotel was recently awarded the 2011 AHA Best country Hotel accomodation award. The hotel was built in 1938 with an Art Deco theme and is situated on the main street of Cooma. The hotel has recently been purchased and has undergone some major renovations to bring it back to its former glory.
The Alpine Hotel has 27 pub-style, all non-smoking rooms. All rooms have been totally renovated with new carpet, new curtains, freshly painted, new overhead fans, new beds & linen, bedside table, lamp, clock radio, electric blankets and heaters A number of the family rooms have ensuite facilities and some rooms have share facilities. Our largest room can accommodate up to seven people in two bedrooms, we have family rooms, queen rooms and single rooms. ... [+] More A large guest sitting room with tea and coffee facilities as well as a television is available on the first floor. We also offer guest laundry facilities with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities which is located on the second floor of accommodation.
The Alpine Hotel offers a large licensed Bistro with fabulous food at very reasonable prices, gaming facilities with soon to be completed Alfresco (smoking) gaming facility, large function room catering for up to 150 people with a separate bar, three large open fires and a family friendly main bar.
Our hotel exclusively offers secure lock-up under-cover parking for motorbikes and special vehicles. There is plenty of off-street parking with 74 car spaces behind the hotel for use by coaches and private vehicles as well as ample street parking.
The main bar offers seven icy cold beers on tap, 2 pool tables, juke box music and Austar live entertainment. Most Saturday nights we also have live entertainment.
