We are located approximately 1 hr and 20 minutes from Bathurst, NSW.
Set in the heart of a Historic Village. Hosies A Circa is an 1873 Building (a bank and spacious residence housing 10 children in the height of the Gold Rush). This property is within walking distance to most of the Village.
With 6 rooms plus a reading and a lounge room. They are all furnished in Period Themes, with antiques etc. The dining area also has collectables. The Sir Joseph Banks Room has a queen 4 poster bed and a balcony. The Family Rooms have a queen bed with a balcony, open fireplace and an adjoining room with 2 singles. We are the only place in Hill End to provide gourmet home style breakfasts and 3 course dinners are on request.
Long weekends and school holidays usually has full occupancy.
Group bookings for up to 12 are welcome,catering can be done for Christmas in July etc.
The true for seasons are experienced at Hill End.
Spring has amazing beauty in Bloosoms & Bulbs.
Autumn(around Easter is magnificant with the amazing colours of 100 year old trees.
Winter has the stark reality(also snow) of incredibly beautiful frosts,then crystal clear days.
Summer is hot, but comes with a dry heat. Hosies is double brick which keeps it cool in Summer, warm in Winter
This is why we have so many Artists/photographers etc stay, but if you can't do either just soak up the atmosphere!
