School Leavers, unfortunately we do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual Schoolies Festival. In particular we do not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of our guests during this period. For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leavers. If you still choose to book your accommodation through us and it turns out that you are school and/or university leavers, your booking will be cancelled and NO refund will be given.

This 4 star resort provides endless views along Main Beach over the South Pacific Ocean and to the Gold Coast and beyond.

Relax on your balcony and watch frolic and breach on their annual trek north and see them pass with their playfull calves on their return south. Dolphins, turtles and manta rays also frequent the water off Point Lookout. Activities include fishing, surfing and swimming, walking through eco trails, golf and lawn bowls. Whales Watch Resort has a heated swimming pool and spa, small gymnasium, games room and undercover security car parking.

There are also a number of fine restaurants within easy walking distance from the resort. Beach access is via a dedicated pathway through the dunes, no roads to cross to get to the patrolled Main Beach.
