Guilin is one of the most picturesque cities of China, lied amid the large number of fragrant of sweet Osmanthus trees in the northeast of the Guangxi Zhuang, where Chinese said the mountains and rivers in Guilin are the number one under the heaven. The best season for travelling is autumn. Spring has too much rain; summer is a little bit too hot, and there is not much water in Li River in winter.
